Our #1, highest selling option on Etsy.com was our in house made, end grain top panels as an addition to your table build.
 
You can now easily upgrade your standard top panel to a thicker End Grain style top by simply adding this product to your cart when building your custom table.
 
When purchasing this upgrade option we will replace the standard top with a 1.5" thick End Grain style top that is more durable, offers a very attractive look and adds huge style points to the area of your home you are designing.  To make these panels, we first start by constructing a standard, face grain butcher block top.  We then cut the full panel into 1.75" thick "slices".  After the slices are all cut we then fabricate them into a new panel by face glueing each of the strips, glueing and clamping with parallel clamps for even pressure distribution and then cure them for 48 hours.  After that we drum sand the panels until extremely smooth on each side and hand soften the edges for a beautiful hand made look and feel.   These panels take stain great as well if you like that as an option.  
 
All table orders include a 4oz jar of our all natural and food grade butcher block conditioner that can be applied to retain water resistence and durability.
